Harnessing Creativity

Creative Play
Creative play fosters important avenues for children to learn interpersonal skills, physical benefits, social and emotional skills, cognitive skills and social skills. Promoting creative play benefits children in learning to do things like negotiate, consider others’ perspectives, transfer knowledge from one situation to another, to take turns, balance their own ideas
with others, develop a plan and act on it.

Meals
The Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) is a federal program that provides reimbursements for nutritious meals and snacks to eligible children. CACFP contributes to the wellness, healthy growth, and development of young children in the United States.

Outdoor Play
Outdoor plays leads to better physical and mental health, improved sleep, cognitive, social and emotional gains for children. From running outside, gardening, playing bubbles and playing in the sandbox. Ensuring outdoor play is an integral part of our day.
